In reality we are so dependent on each other that our very cognitive ability to recognize our own existence is reliant on the recognition of the existence of others and their affirmation that we also exist to them. We are biologically social creatures that raise our children, we care for each other, and we get lonely in isolation. The very fact that we have language is a phenomenon of collective effort.
